17th February ushers in Chinese New Year with the Fire Horse energies.  Here are some tips to prepare your home to welcome the year.

 

1. Clean and dust your home before Chinese New Year.

2. Do not sweep or dust the home on 17th February as you will be sweeping your good fortune out of your home.

3. Place a bowl of red apples (more than 4) in your living room. Place it as near to your main door if you can. These can be eaten after the 18th of February.
